One of our senior years students gets hands-on with a brain as part of our divisions partnership with St. Boniface Hospital to provide internships for Indigenous students. Some of the key features of the internship include, students receiving hands‐on experience in various medical disciplines; a mentor being paired with each student to support them throughout; and an opportunity to network with healthcare professionals.

Young students had the opportunity to participate in the divisional Folk Dance Festival this week. This event took place over two days with over 1,500 Grade 1-3 students performing dance routines they learned.

Happy Manitoba Day! The Manitoba Act, which created the Province of Manitoba, was given royal assent on May 12, 1870. Then, on May 12, 1966, Manitoba’s official flag was dedicated and raised for the first time. In 1986, May 12 was designated as #ManitobaDay.
