Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in volunteering and supporting our school. All volunteers must complete the required background checks in accordance with River East Transcona School Division process and provincial regulations.
Before anyone can volunteer in RETSD schools, they must complete:
- A criminal record check (dated within the previous 12 months and valid for 2 years).
- A child abuse registry check (dated within the previous 12 months and valid for 1 year).
- Training, including Commit to Kids, and, if applicable, Respect in Sport.
- The Accessibility for Manitobans Act (AMA) training video.
Please note that all mandatory checks and required training must be fully completed prior to volunteering.
