RETSD Celebrates Skills Manitoba Participants
River East Transcona School Division is pleased to celebrate the success of students who participated in the Skills Manitoba Competition on April 9.
Students showcased strong technical skill, professionalism, and commitment while competing against peers from across the province. Their participation and achievements highlight the value of applied learning and career-focused programming throughout the division.

Gold medalists have now qualified to represent Manitoba at the Skills Canada National Competition, taking place May 28–29, 2026, at the Enercare Centre in Toronto—an exciting opportunity to compete on the national stage.
Recognition is also extended to the many other RETSD students who competed in the event. While not all participants earned a medal, each student did an amazing job and represented the division with pride and professionalism.
These accomplishments reflect the combined efforts of students, educators, administrators, industry partners, and families who support skill development and career readiness.
