2025 Divisional Powwow

On May 22 River East Transcona School Division welcomed the community to its annual divisional powwow at River East Collegiate. RETSD Powwows are lively, inclusive events that attract drum groups and traditional dancers from across the province, as well as students, families, and others from throughout the division.

RETSD is committed to improving educational outcomes for Indigenous students and fostering a safe, welcoming learning environment for all, built on the Treaty principles of mutual recognition, respect, and shared responsibility for relationships, today and into the future.
