FUNDRAISING - 2025 TO 2026
RECMAPA Naleway Perogy Fundraiser. Naleway Perogy Fundraiser Form
The fundraiser will be running for about four weeks and the order forms will be accepted no later than Monday, Nov 17th. We'll be picking up the perogies the week of Dec 8th and we'll need a school cheque for the total before the day of the pickup to pay for them. I'll provide you with an invoice from Naleway prior to requiring the cheque.

The River East Collegiate Musical Arts Parent Association
The River East Collegiate Musical Arts Parent Association’s (RECMAPA) purpose is to support and enhance the REC music program. This renowned music program benefits our children, our school and our community.
RECMAPA works to support our music instructors and to establish a fund to supplement music equipment and instrument repairs, endow scholarships and offer opportunities for students to participate in clinics and workshops. RECMAPA also supports the staff and students by coordinating all concerts, applying for grants, and promoting the program in the community.
Here are some ways you can help:
- Volunteer your time and talents on the RECMAPA Board: Attend monthly RECMAPA meetings
- Prepare Concert Tickets for Distribution: 2 winter concerts & 2 spring concerts
- Assist at Concerts: Door hosts, programs, collect donations
- Assist with Fundraising Activities and Preparations: Collect & distribute funds for Sobeys & other gift cards, assist with other fundraisers as needed, manage student accounts
- Support Teachers: Identify and prepare grant submissions, other activities as defined

Music programs really benefit the students in terms of skill development, teamwork and positive social interaction. These programs also have considerable expenses, which music parents have been exemplary in helping to defray in one form or another. One of those forms is the $25 music fee which acts as a foundation for the entire budget. We would invite and really welcome the rest of our parent supporters to contribute their fee payment at this time.
