Band/Music

 This is a reminder that the River East Collegiate Winter Concert will take place on Thursday, December 4 at 7:00 pm in the REC Gym.
Admission is $5 at the door, and children 12 and under are free.
 
 There will be some disruptions throughout the day on Dec 4, as we setup the gym, and sound check, etc.
 I’ll send out a detailed schedule next week, but setup happens in the morning and soundchecks are in the afternoon. We try to avoid pulling kids as much as possible, but inevitably they will need to miss a bit of time. They know they are responsible for any missed work.

The concert is a great opportunity to hear some of the work students have been doing during the first term of the school year.

Our performing groups include:
 • Grade 9 Concert Band
 • Grade 10 Concert Band
 • Senior Concert Band (Gr. 11 & Gr. 12)
 • REC Big Band
 • REC Jazz Orchestra
 • REC Concert Choir
 • Vocalease
