CHEF'S EVENT

KEC students were involved in the Junior Chefs club of the Winnipeg Branch of the Canadian Chefs Association by participating in a Pasta Making Competition on Wednesday Oct 14th. The event was hosted at MITT and included other teams from RRC, Tec-Voc, and MITT. Students had to come up with a unique homemade pasta recipe that they could execute to serve to approximately 100 people. An online vote named our very own KEC team the winners of the people's choice for best dish of the night! Prizes included an assortment of chef's knives, culinary books, a coveted engraved ladle, and, of course, bragging rights! 

Well done to all the students who helped to make the event a fun event!
