    • Winds (Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone)

 Need to Know Stuff

  • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – we start from scratch
  • Instrument selection and assignment will be completed before the end of this school year
  • Most instruments to be rented from local music stores (cost varies depending on the instrument)
  • Daily practice at home is required and will need to be verified regularly by a parent/guardian

  • Instruments are provided for use at school (a small user fee is payable at the beginning of the year)
  • Instruction in a variety of styles
  • Exposure to many types of guitar music
  • Learn to read standard notation, chord symbols and tablature for the guitar
  • Possibility of performing at music festivals

 Need to Know Stuff

  • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – we start from scratch
  • It is expected that each student have a guitar at home to practice on. Guitars can be purchased, leased or rented from a variety of local music stores
  • Daily practice at home is required and will need to be verified regularly by a parent/guardian
