Graphic Arts

Industrial arts provides a unique setting for youth to develop and practice skills for daily living. The graphic arts program provides an exceptional contribution to education where students may acquire many skills that will grow with them throughout their lives.

Graphic arts is a compulsorily course for all Grade 6 and 7 students. In Grade 8, the graphic arts class is optional.

Grade 6

• Computer Applications: Photoshop, digital camera work, editing
• Creative problem solving: rocket design

 Grade 7

• Safety

• Screen printing
• Computer Applications: Photoshop, digital camera, heat transfer design

Grade 8

• Safety: WHMIS
• Photography
• Multi-color screen printing
• 3-D modeling
• Photoshop
• Movie editing
