Sun Valley Lunch Bunch Program

In the River East Transcona School Division, families are responsible for the care of their students over the lunch period. All students remaining at the school between 11:45 and 12:35 must be registered for care in the Lunch Bunch Program. Spots are not limited, but fees are required to cover the costs needed to run the program based on divisional policies and safety requirements.

Important Information:

Registration and payment (allchecks or PAD form) must be received before beginning care. All students, regardless of how casually, will require registration to participate.

Missed payments forfeit care. Families are responsible for arranging their own care untilpayment is received.

Families who do not require childcare during the lunch hour must have their student(s) picked up each day at 11:45 and not returned before 12:35.

This program does not provide hot meals. Students must be sent with their own lunches.

Lunch items must be nut free, follow any further allergy restrictions set out by their classroom teacher, and cannot be shared with other students.

The Lunch Bunch operates within Sun Valley School. Students will not be traveling to anether facility to receive care; however, they will be spending a portion of their time in the school yard, so appropriate clothing for the weather is mandatory.
