CMMC Student Awarded Prestigious $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship
The CMMC community is proud to celebrate Melind Bhroat, who has been awarded the prestigious $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship, one of Canada’s most competitive scholarships for students pursuing studies in STEM.
Throughout high school, Melind has demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit. He currently serves as President of the Engineering Club, has won two school hackathons, earned second place at North Forge’s Ramp Up Weekend competition, and founded Two6, a startup focused on designing ergonomic keyboards. He has also volunteered with youth coding programs and been actively involved in Student Council and the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
This fall, Melind will attend his dream school, the University of Waterloo, where he will study in the Science and Business program. Passionate about using technology to solve real-world challenges, he hopes to continue growing his business while pursuing future innovations in sustainable agriculture and food production.

The CMMC community is proud to celebrate Daniel Berezovskyi, who has been awarded the prestigious $100,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship, one of Canada's most competitive scholarships for students pursuing studies in STEM.
Daniel has distinguished himself through outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. As Co-President of Finance for a Junior Achievement company, he helped lead a venture that was named JA Manitoba Provincial Champion, earning recognition as the top student-run business in the province. He also co-founded the school's Engineering Club, completed a competitive IT internship through the Canadian Armed Forces Cadet Program, and has served as a mentor, tutor, and volunteer in his community.
Passionate about mathematics and its ability to solve real-world challenges, Daniel has focused his efforts on projects related to sustainability, energy efficiency, and innovation. His leadership, initiative, and commitment to helping others have made a lasting impact both within and beyond the school community.
This fall, Daniel will attend McGill University as an Honours Mathematics major. As a Schulich Leader Scholar, he will receive $100,000 to support his studies and future goals of using applied mathematics to address challenges in climate, energy, and sustainability.
