Remembrance Day Ceremony- Honoring Our Heroes:
The reality of war has impacted many families in our school community. Many children in John W. Gunn Middle School have friends and family who are currently serving or have served our country or their home country. We would like to honor them.
Please email jhanuschuk@retsd.mb.ca an electronic copy of a picture of friends and/or relatives you wish to honour for their service. With the picture, please include the name of the person, the student(s) to whom that the person is related, and the war in which they served.
For example: Name: ______________ Grandfather to ___________________ Served in _______________________
The pictures will be used to create a PowerPoint of Heroes that will be on display for the month of November.
Please send your pictures to Jessica Hanuschuk by Monday, November 3.
