Accessibility

"Standard for Student Services," a section of The Public School Act, requires schools to provide accessibility information to parents new to the school division.

At John W. Gunn Middle School, we currently have three entrances which are accessible to all individuals. The main entrance on Harold Ave. has ramp access, as does the entrance off the staff parking lot in the back of the school. The third ramp can be accessed off the east end of the building. Our building is also equipped with an elevator which must be activated with a key that is available from the main office, as well as a mini lift which allows access to the mini gym for all individuals.  

The parking lot in the back of the school also has one dedicated Handicapped parking space. This space is located near the rear entrance to the school.
