French Immersion
French Immersion at Collège Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau is offered in a milieu setting. Staff communicate in French among themselves and provide a Francophone ambience in terms of language and culture. All courses are taught in French with the exception of English and Music. Besides the provincial diploma, students earn a CPET diploma by completing a minimum of 75% of all courses instructed in French. Furthermore, graduates may earn a diploma for competency in spoken French.
Canadian Parents for French (CPF) is "...the national network of volunteers which values French as an integral part of Canada and which is dedicated to the promotion and creation of French-second-language learning opportunities for young Canadians."
