Language Instructor for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) Classes
River East Transcona Immigrant Services (RETIS) offers Adult English as an Additional Language (EAL) daytime* and evening classes. Our Classes range from Literacy to CLB 5 classes. We run programming out of 2 schools in the division: Lord Wolseley (939 Henderson Hwy) and Hampstead (920 Hampstead Ave). Programming is not run out of McLeod Adult Education Centre.
*For adults with young children (19 months to 6 years) who are taking daytime courses we also offer a care for newcomer's children classes for your children to attend while you are taking EAL classes.
In order to register you must have a benchmark report from WELARC or a progress report dated within the last 2 years.
