Chemistry 30S - Grade 11

Chemistry studies matter - what makes up everything around us and within. It is required credit for entry to post-secondary studies in medical , scientific and technical fields. Hands on Laboratory activities are included in this course. A strong foundation in advanced Mathematics is recommended.

The topics of study in this course include

• physical properties of matter
• gases and the atmosphere
• chemical reactions
• solutions and organic chemistry 

This is a prerequisite for Chemistry 40S.
