Performing Arts

Transcona Collegiate has worked hard at developing their Performing Arts Program over the past few years. The student participation rate has grown steadily during this time.

The Transcona Collegiate Performing Arts Program is involved in several performances throughout the school year including: 

1.      Drama/dance performances at Radisson School (yearly)

Saturday Night Live – 3 nights 
Stand Up Comedy – 1 night 
Improv Team - 2 nights 
Grade 12 Drama Productions - 3 days – 6 performances 
Grade 11 Drama Exams (small productions) – 12 to 15 performances 
Musical Theatre – 6 to 10 performances - runs for a week – every second year
TCI Idol – 1 Evening Performance 
Dance Presentation  - 2 Evenings
Fringe Festival – 5 Evenings

Band Concerts – 2 performances (off site)
Jazz Concert - 2 performances (off site)
Choral Concert - 2 performances (off site)
Choral Jazz Concert - 2 performances (off site)
