Resource

We offer resource assistance to students experiencing any difficulties with learning. This assistance is provided to the classroom teacher in the form of consultation or direct service to the classroom. Cases are reviewed by the School Student Support Team, consisting of a member of the school's administration team, resource department, classroom teachers and Student Services Support Unit.

Home Reading Program

The Home Reading Program is designed to stimulate your child's interest in reading at home as well as at school. Books are sent home with your child to read with you, to you, or independently, according to the child's age level and ability. We encourage all parents to help their children become lifelong readers and learners.

Vision and Hearing Screening

Each year RETSD provides a program, which assists in identifying problems in vision and hearing. Hearing screening is done with students in kindergarten and Grade 1. Vision screening is done with students in kindergarten and grades 3 and 5.
