Launch Into Life!—For Young Adults with Additional Needs
These interactive sessions will provide training and navigation support to young adults (ages 15–21) living with additional needs—and their parents or legal guardians—to help make plans as they transition from school to the community.
Each week, different topics will be explored through activities, conversations, and person-centred planning tools. Staff from Inclusion Winnipeg will be co-facilitating the workshops with River East Transcona staff.
Topics will include:
- Health & Well-Being
- Education & Employment
- Communication & Social Relationships
- Independent Living Skills & Self-Advocacy
- Digital Citizenship
- Legal & Financial Planning
