2024-2025 First Day Information

Dear ADMS Families,

It is hard to believe we are well into August and school start up is approaching! As we get ready to welcome students back to school, we want to share with you some key information about the 2024-2025 school year: 

• Our office will be open August 26-30 from 8:30-3:30. Starting September 3, we return to regular office hours, 8:00-4:00. You are always welcome to reach out by phone, by email, or in person.

 • A reminder that RETSD has changing information systems, therefore you no longer have access to the Parent Portal. Class placements for next year for the 2024-2025 school year were on your report card in the spring. You are welcome to call the office the week of August 26 if you were not able to access via the report card. A reminder that we are not able to accommodate any class changes. 

We will again be welcoming all families into ADMS the day before school for School Year’s Eve! On September 3rd, students (and families) can drop in between 3 and 5 pm to visit homeroom classrooms, say hello to your homeroom teacher, and drop off supplies prior to the first day of school. If you do not know your homeroom teacher, we will have a table in the front lobby to meet you and help you find your way.

 • Supply Lists for 2024-2025 are posted on the website 2024-2025 School Supply List. 

 • First Day of School on September 4th will be a staggered start so that each grade level has time to get settled into the building

o Grade 6’s start at 8:35 am 

o Grade 7’s start at 10:30 am 

o Grade 8’s start at 12:20 pm (after lunch) 

September 5th will be a regular school day for all students: 8:35 am to 3:10 pm.

 At ADMS we believe in creating a culture of equity and excellence that provides authentic and robust student led learning experiences, a sense of belonging for all students, and meaningful supports to empower students with a strength-based lens. We are looking forward to working and learning with you this year.
