Parent Association

Transcona Collegiate Parent Advisory Council is an active and committed group of parents with the purpose of fostering the well-being and effectiveness of our school community and to enhance student learning.

Our membership is open to all parents of students enrolled in Transcona Collegiate and all residents in the catchment area, who are interested in the education and well being of the students.  We meet once a month in the school library, usually on the first Tuesday of the month.  We have two elected positions: Chairperson and Secretary. 

We provide input to the staff and administration on issues of importance, such as school philosophy, mission and vision; school policies; programs and direction. We also organize special events, which benefit our school and community. We DO NOT fundraise!

New members are always welcome. If you are interested in getting involved with a great group of people and be kept "in the "loop", hear monthly reports form the Principal about what's happening or upcoming at TC, please join us. Come as often as you wish, or just drop in to hear from the Principal or talk with other TC parents.  No commitment is required to attend.
