Good morning families,

I hope that you and your families are safe and well.

During the school closure I will be posting assignments and instructions for students on our class Teams site.

I will also be available to them for any consultation or questions. They can call my office number (below) or message me via Teams, if there's no answer at the office. I plan to spend most of my time at the office, but I can't say for certain what the next three weeks will look like.

Please ask your students to bring their instruments home - I'll be posting playing assignments for them in the weeks to come.

Keep music happening in your house, playing listening, singing. You've probably seen some of the videos of the Italians, singing in the midst of their quarantine. Music has a way of lightening up the darkest situations! With that in mind, check out all the links at the very bottom of this email - online concerts and listening opportunities to help keep our hearts light! I've also added the links to my teacher website.

I've been away from school all week (bad back), but I hope to be there tomorrow. I would love for the students to pop in throughout the day to say hello and I can answer questions about the coming weeks. There won't be a set schedule - they can just come when they have a minute. I'll be away from the office from 11:00-1:00 to get to the chiropractor, so don't come then.

I received word last night about our MusicFest tour to Calgary. The festival has been cancelled and we'll sort out all the details in the weeks to come.

As always, please don't hesitate to email if you have any questions or concerns!
