Our 29th ANNUAL TERRY FOX CELEBRATION is coming on Thursday, October 3….Salisbury Morse Place School is proud to be one of 9000 schools across Canada fundraising to help researchers find a cure for cancer. So far, funds raised for the Terry Fox Foundation have funded 1290 cancer research projects. Even though Terry had Bone cancer, the Foundation funds many types of cancer projects including lung, breast, brain, oral and blood cancers. And, it all stays here in Canada. Last year, we raised $475.90. This year, our goal is $600.00. Students will be working with their buddy groups to raise the largest donation. If they are the winners of this challenge, then the buddy group gets to decide what Mr. Klassen and Mrs. Evans will have to do at the Terry Fox Assembly on October 3rd. In the past, Mrs. Nazeravich had to jump and read on a trampoline, sing and dance to a traditional Ukrainian song, have her mouth stuffed with perogies….let's see what our NEW vice-principals are willing to face. Please donate whatever you can. It all goes to a very worthy cause. Thank you for your generosity!!!
