“Standards for Student Services”, a section of the
Public Schools Act, requires schools to provide accessibility information to
parents new to the school division.
Springfield Heights School is a two story building.
Our school has four entrances which are accessible.
The main entrance is located off of Sharron Bay. There are
no steps to enter the building. We have an elevator which allows
for access to the second floor of the north wing. The south wing
is accessible only by stairs.
The parking lot in the back of the school also has one
dedicated Accessible parking space. This space is located near
the rear entrance to the school.
The playground is accessible to all individuals.
The main play structure has a ramp.
