Parent Advisory Council
Greetings from the MMCI parent advisory council! We would like to welcome all students and parents to a new school year. We would like to extend a special welcome to our grade 9 students and their parents.
Parental involvement plays an important role in our children’s education and this remains true at the high school level. We encourage all parents to become involved with the school this year. Our parent advisory council meetings are one opportunity for parents to learn first hand what’s going on in the school, ask questions and exchange information. I would encourage you to come and check us out!
Throughout the year there are a variety of events that you can join us at, including the Meet the Teacher Barbecue and the school open house. You will have an opportunity to review your child’s progress at parent-teacher interviews and to do registration for next year with your child and their AGM teacher.
The opportunities are endless at Murdoch MacKay for the students.
Join us March 11 and May 14 at 6:30 in the Library, with the exception of December and June and find out what’s going on. It’s a quick, easy way to be involved.
