Cosmetology

This program is designed for those students who wish to become a licensed hairstylist or nail technician.

Hairstyling

Hairstyling students will complete a required 1,400 hours of in-school training and earn 12 credits over a period of three years.

This three-year program is designed to enable the students to obtain the theory and practical knowledge necessary to become a licenced hairstylist.

The students will learn haircutting, perming, hair colouring, basic manicure, basic skin care and other related skills.

Nail Technology

Nail Technology students will complete a required 480 hours of in-school training and earn four credits.

Nail Technology is designed to enable the students to obtain the theory and practical knowledge necessary to become a licensed nail technician.

The students will learn five methods of manicuring, pedicures, toe cures, nail extensions (gel, acrylic, and fiberglass), nail repairs, nail art, and other related skills.
