French Immersion
Students enrolled in French Immersion have the same flexibility in meeting admission requirements for university as students enrolled in the English academic program. A strong personal interest in the language is indispensable in the Immersion program, as students will be required to function in French at an advanced level.

To graduate with a French Immersion diploma, students must earn credits in fourteen courses, studied in French. Fran├žais at the grades 9 to 12 levels is compulsory.

French Immersion IB

At the end of the Grade 10 year, students may choose to enter the IB diploma course stream in English and continue with Fran├žais IB courses (these students will not continue in the French Immersion stream).  Alternatively, students from this stream may choose the option of completing the requirements for a Department of Education French Immersion Diploma in combination with as many as 3 or 4 International Baccalaureate courses taught in English.
