REC Teacher Paul Anderson Recognized for Impact

Congratulations to River East Collegiate teacher Paul Anderson, who will be honoured by a former student at the 31st Annual Students’ Teacher Recognition Reception at the University of Manitoba.

This event, which will take place on May 2, gives outstanding U of M graduating students the opportunity to honour teachers who have made important contributions to their education. Each student is asked to acknowledge two teachers: one from their K–12 years and one from the U of M. 

At the reception, each student introduces and honours their chosen teachers by reflecting on the contributions these teachers have made to their lives. The teachers are then presented with an award. 

RETSD teachers have been recognized frequently over the years. It’s always uplifting to be reminded of the significant impact our teachers make on students at various points in their education journey.
