May 29, 2018
What a wonderful year it has been! Thank you to all our volunteers and EC Families for their support and participation in fundraising, special events, volunteering and supporting our school.
As the year comes to an end, don't forget to order your École Centrale 2017/2018 yearbook. These memories will last a lifetime. Rose our Yearbook coordinator has worked so hard to put together a great keepsake of the school year. Orders can be placed online at ybpay.lifetouch.com use ID CODE: 9039318. Deadline for orders is June 15th. You can also send your photos to Rose at ecphotos@hotmail.com.
Join us on Friday June 1st to cheer on the students at our annual Fun Run. This is always a favourite for the students as they support the school and have fun outdoors. These funds will help us meet our playground goal. Thank you for your support!
Our last event of the year is our Annual Family Fun Night, Thursday June 14! It is a great time to celebrate another great school year. Order forms for tickets will be sent home in early June. Please help us by pre ordering tickets and BBQ combos so that we can accommodate for numbers. There will be bouncers, face painting, games and much more! You won't want to miss out.

Playground Update
We are so close to our 50 000.00 goal to complete phase 2 of the playground. We are about 10 000.00 short of this goal but are waiting to hear from back from a number of grant applications. At our AGM members approved the start of the project. With out the additional 10 000.00 we will be able to complete new sod, a running track and removal of almost all pea gravel. The replacement of pea gravel to woodchips in the secondary play structure area will wait till funding is available either later this summer or through a fall fundraiser in the new school year.
We want to thank everyone for all their hard work and dedication to this project! Such a big undertaking would not be possible with out your support. A special Thank you to our PAC and Playground committee who have worked so hard to make this happen.
Again, Thank you for a great year! We wish you all a fun and safe summer!
