Congratulations to Marco—from David Wiebe's Grade 7 class at John Pritchard School—on winning a competition put on by the Manitoba Council for International Cooperation (MCIC)!
As a part of MCIC's celebrations for International Development Week (IDW)—February 6 to 12—classes across Manitoba were challenged to recreate a $20 bill based on a Sustainable Development Goal for a chance to be featured during their Annual Kick Off Event on February 8.
Marco was selected as the winner for his design focused on Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action. As a result, they will be celebrating and recognizing his work at the IDW 2022 Kick Off Event, and Marco's class was provided with a gift card for a pizza lunch.
